A Word About Giving

My publisher, Gretchen Young, founder of Regalo Press, an imprint at Post Hill Press, has adopted a philanthropic approach to publishing by donating to a charity of each writer’s choosing on every title—an industry first.  

As my charity, I chose World Central Kitchen, created by Chef José Andrés, who provides frontline meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. 

I call Chef Andrés a food first responder. His effort brings comfort, saves lives, and makes this a less hangry globe.
